ONE ATHLETE RECORD

Everything about the athlete stays connected.

The tryout an athlete registers for, the evaluation a coach scores, the film they upload, the development plan a coach approves, the schools they pursue, the responses that come back and the commitment they make all belong to the same athlete. Nothing is rebuilt when an athlete moves from one stage to the next, or from one team to another in the same program.

  • Multi-sport athletes on several teams in their program
  • Positions and evaluations kept per sport
  • One chosen recruiting sport drives fit, College Explorer and the timeline
An athlete's LaxRecruit dashboard: Recruiting Readiness, current evaluation, signals changed this week, what needs attention and what changed.

01 · CAPTURE

Bring the athlete into one record.

Public tryout registration, walk-ins and several coaches scoring at once on their phones. Rosters come from tryout decisions or a roster file. Evaluations, film and recruiting activity all land on the same athlete.

  • Tryouts and walk-ins
  • Roster import
  • Coach and self evaluations
  • Film
  • Recruiting activity
Scoring an athlete at a tryout on a phone in LaxRecruit: one to five ratings by skill, with Save and Next Athlete.

02 · UNDERSTAND

Turn athlete information into something a coach can use.

Recruiting Readiness measures process execution, not talent. Fit shows its three parts and the inputs behind them. The timeline flags what is overdue before it becomes a problem.

  • Recruiting Readiness
  • Athletic, Academic and College Profile Fit
  • Timeline tripwires
  • Sport-specific evaluations
  • Directional film feedback

03 · ACT

Know who needs attention and what happens next.

This Week ranks the signals that need a person, across every team. A director assigns an owner and a follow-up date, and the item resolves when the work is done.

  • This Week
  • Assign an owner
  • Set follow-up dates
  • Mark reviewed
  • Development plans and tasks
LaxRecruit This Week for a club director: athletes ranked by what needs attention, with filters for open, assigned, overdue and resolved items, and what changed this week.

04 · RECRUIT

Give every athlete a real recruiting process.

Athletes find programs in their sport, build a pipeline by stage, write their own outreach with Email Coach's feedback, and practice the call before the real one.

  • College discovery
  • School pipeline
  • Email Coach
  • AI Mock Coach Calls
  • Outreach tracking
An athlete's recruiting pipeline in LaxRecruit: schools by stage, from discovery to evaluation and visit, with College Profile, Academic and Athletic Fit.

05 · SHOW OUTCOMES

Keep the record of what happened.

Responses, visits, offers and commitments are recorded as structured outcomes, and the program keeps its own record of where each class goes.

  • Coach responses
  • Visits
  • Offers
  • Commitments
  • College placements and class reporting
A LaxRecruit year-end college placement report for one graduating class: commitments by division and status, from the program's own commitment records.

ATHLETE INTELLIGENCE

What the record tells you.

  • Recruiting Readiness

A 0 to 100 reading of how well the athlete is running their process. Recruiting Readiness measures process execution, not talent.

  • Fit, in three parts

Athletic, Academic and College Profile Fit, each based on the inputs available, and each saying how many it used. Missing data is left out, never filled in.

  • Directional film feedback

An overall read, strengths and areas to improve tied to timestamps, and drill suggestions. Film feedback is directional. No score. No grade. No division.

  • Milestones and tripwires

40 milestones and 12 tripwires flag what is due and what is slipping. LaxRecruit doesn't fill a missing recruiting rule with another sport's timeline.

AI where it helps. Rules where they matter.

Scores, fit and timeline rules are computed by deterministic code. AI helps people practice, prepare and improve. It does not invent the numbers.

  • Email Coach

Reviews the athlete's own draft before it goes out. We don't write your emails. We make sure yours doesn't sound like everyone else's.

  • AI Mock Coach Calls

A spoken practice call with a college coach, before the real one, then written feedback. No score.

  • Development plans

A milestone-based 90-day plan a coach reviews. Items drawn from film wait for the coach's approval.

  • Film analysis

Directional feedback on uploaded film, alongside the coach's own timestamped notes.

  • Recruiting coach

Answers questions against the athlete's own record and helps with what to say to a college coach. It never writes the message.

  • The weekly brief

The Athlete Intelligence Brief goes to directors by email when there is something to report.

People and portals.

Each person gets a defined view, set by role and by the permissions families grant.

  • Athlete

Runs their own process: readiness, College Explorer, fit, timeline, pipeline, outreach, film and development.

  • Coach and director

Evaluate, develop and guide. Directors see across teams, assign follow-ups and keep the placement record.

  • Parent and guardian

Linked athletes, schedules, messages, recruiting progress where allowed, consent and privacy controls, and advisor approvals. Copied on staff and advisor messages to their minor.

  • Advisor

A private coach or trainer sees only what a parent or athlete approves: film, pipeline, messaging or development.

  • College coach

Free, approved accounts that search public, consented athletes in the coach's own sport. Internal evaluations, readiness and fit stay private.

Intelligence you can explain.

A 0 to 100 score from five weighted areas of the athlete's recruiting process. Its evaluation component counts whether current evaluations exist and never reads a rating, so nothing an athlete rates themselves can raise it. Recruiting Readiness measures process execution, not talent.

Shown in three parts: Athletic Fit (the athlete's evaluations against the level of the school's program in their sport), Academic Fit and College Profile Fit. Each says "based on N of M" inputs. An input without data is left out, never given a default. Height and weight are not used.

Film analysis returns an overall read, specific strengths and areas to improve tied to timestamps, and drill suggestions. Film feedback is directional. No score. No grade. No division.

Lacrosse is where recruiting calibration is deepest: its benchmarks are baselines compiled from lacrosse recruiting research, not from commitments recorded on the platform. The other sports have their own evaluations and metrics, without division standards.

LaxRecruit doesn't fill a missing recruiting rule with another sport's timeline. Where LaxRecruit has no rule for a sport, the timeline says so and leaves that milestone out rather than guessing.

Supporting infrastructure, on the same record.

Scheduling with RSVP and attendance, cancellations, team messaging, tasks, files, announcements, reporting and organization branding. They support the intelligence. LaxRecruit is not a registration, dues or payments system.
